Wow! The skill, excitement, entertainment, and heart has me bubbling over in happy enthusiasm for my own life. Do you ever get really inspired by the talent of others? The guts it requires for them to embrace their gifts, throw in some major hard work, and present something amazing for the masses to enjoy. I do not go to stadium type events very often, but when I do, they move me. There is something extra special about witnessing something amazing surrounded by a convergence of strangers. The raw energy from all the positive vibes of applause and cheer. It feeds my heart and soul to be more and do more, with an intense desire to unleash my own gifts to the world. I am on this inspirational high after attending Derek and Julianne Hough’s Move tour. These two genuine gems of human beings have me blessed beyond my britches.
During the phenomenal night of dance, they encouraged their audience to get up and move, not only physically, but in the direction of their passions too. It was only 8 years ago that they were mere dancers in the background on Dancing with the Stars, and now they have their very own tour, among a litany of many other huge accomplishments in the hollywood industry. Their work ethic, perseverance, integrity, and character screams from their beautiful beings. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for their example. I implore my readers to not be jealous, as many of us can easily fall into that trap. Some were meant to be famous on a larger scale because they were endowed with the right sprinkling of ingredients to rally others toward greatness. Take that jealousy and let it move you to be better.
Their intentions worked its magic on me, for my living room became my stage the second I arrived home. Playing my favorite tune, I danced and pranced around as if I were one of their dance crew. I stretched my limbs in what I thought were lovely configurations, kicking a leg here, pointing a toe there, twirling, and spinning. I allowed the emotion that had built up inside, express itself with free spirited abandon. I felt empowered, ready to present myself to the world with what I had to offer.
I now lay in bed, writing this missive. Their message resonates. There is no time like the present. Live life happy and full today and everyday. Make a difference.
I could not say it any better this week than they have: MOVE!
Release to Unleash!
What moves you?
